The gaucho portal “Baguete” published an article about Teclógica’s entry into the VoIP market and the launch of its channel network. Clóvis Vasselai, Director of Teclógica, was the one who gave the interview that generated the news. Check below:
Teclógica launches Digital Telephony products for the Southern region.
Company focuses on the heating of the Unified Communication market. Expectation is that the company’s new area will account for 10% of revenue.
Teclógica, an IT and business process management company with tailor-made technological solutions, is launching its new product line for Digital Telephony. These are three products developed exclusively to demonstrate the importance of the growth of Unified Communication within each client’s business. These products will be offered first to the Southern region and in the last quarter will be available to other markets.
The line of VoIP (Voice over IP) solutions allows a reduction of up to 30% in telephone call expenses and 40% in solution installation, compared to conventional telephony solutions. The solutions aim to expand telephony infrastructure functionalities without the need to replace the Telephone Exchange and telephone devices.
Market Shift
For Clovis Vasselai, Infrastructure Director at Teclógica, the market has been increasingly mature for VoIP offers. “For a few years companies have already had solutions of this type at their disposal, but only now are managers exploring the real benefits of Unified Communication, a movement that goes hand in hand with the improvement of broadband supply in Brazil”, he states.
He recalls that within the concept of Unified Communication, Teclógica‘s new solutions offer services such as: conference rooms, presence information, IP telephony, call control, speech recognition, in addition to integrating voice, e-mail, SMS, and fax. The products offered by Teclógica help integrate business processes by simplifying, integrating, and optimizing these processes and consequently helping to reduce response time. The company bets on the integration of voice and data into business processes and the rapid deployment of these services.
Studies by Frost & Sullivan estimate that IP telephony business in Brazil should register an increase above 20% in 2011. Data from the report regarding the year 2010 indicated that the sector moved approximately 500 million reais, compared to a revenue of 330.4 million reais in 2009.
It is with this vision of market heating that Teclógica intends to offer its products. The executive expects, from these solutions, a 10% increase in Teclógica’s revenue in the first year. “In less than a month we closed five new clients. Next month, we expect to double that number”, he states.
The products offered are: VoIP Gateway, responsible for routing calls through a previously programmed lowest cost route using SIP (Session Initiation Protocol) technology which complements IP-based data networks, conventional telephony links, and cell phones.
The IPBX Central is a Telephone Exchange that receives, makes, and distributes calls between a company’s extensions. By acquiring this product, the client has at their disposal various functionalities that previously existed only in large-scale exchanges, making the equipment extremely adherent to each client’s business. This technology has been growing exponentially in companies looking to improve their communication and have a market differentiator.
And finally the Call Center, which together with the IPBX Central provides service functionality through service queues and call reception through menus, aiming for a better quality of service provided to the user who uses the telephone as a relationship center.
