These 168 years of Blumenau have been marked by a rich history and various phases of its development. Over the years, a major difference can be felt in every sense, from traffic to the landscape.
To honor the headquarters city, which celebrates its 168th anniversary this September 2nd, Teclógica carried out a special action. The initiative, named Ich Liebe Blumenau, proposes a reinterpretation of old photos of the city.
The city of Blumenau (SC) is known for the strong influence of Germanic culture in its traditions, gastronomy, and architecture. From the buildings to the cuisine and craft beers, the municipality located in the Itajaí Valley has over 348 thousand inhabitants and was officially recognized in 2017 as the National Capital of Beer.
Employees, individually or in groups, chose a spot in the city to reproduce a historical photograph from the collection selected by the company’s Internal Marketing team. The photos come from the Facebook group Antigamente em Blumenau, created in 2012, which aims to rescue the city’s memory. The photo reproduction had to be taken at the exact same location and, preferably, from the same angle as the chosen image.
The objective of the movement was to show the evolution and development of the city over the years. The action also aims to highlight that we all are part of the 168 years of Blumenau, states Ana Paula Felipe, Marketing Coordinator at Teclógica.
