What is the importance of these actions for the NGOs in Blumenau?
Liziane Belmiro, human resources analyst at Teclógica, shares that bringing together all employees and company directors in favor of NGOs in Blumenau and actions that somehow help the regional community is very rewarding.
“It may seem like a small gesture, but it makes a difference in many people’s lives. We believe that if everyone contributes a little, it is possible to help many people. Since we are a Blumenau-based company, we find it essential to help those who are from here,” she adds.
She explains that the Teclógica Olympics are already in their 18th edition and aim to promote interaction between professionals from different sectors, besides making friends and encouraging team spirit. With remote work, actions like this are indispensable.
“We notice that especially after home office, moments like this are very important for employees to get to know each other and exchange ideas with diverse teams. Another important point of the action is solidarity and the spirit of care and union towards others; therefore, every year we hold competitions involving social actions aimed at NGOs in Blumenau and the Itajaí Valley, always looking out for those who need help at that moment.”

Amigo Esperança
During the 18th edition of the Teclógica Olympics, which took place in November 2023, Liziane shares that more than 350 donations of non-perishable food and hygiene items were collected. All donations were directed to families assisted by the Amigo Esperança NGO, whose objective is to improve the quality of life of children and their families, providing access to recreational activities and opportunities.
“Additionally, on Children’s Day, we also promoted social actions by raising funds to purchase complete kimonos for the jiu-jitsu students at the Blumenau NGO,” she explains.
Hemosc Solidarity Company Seal
One of the most traditional events in the Teclógica Olympics is blood donations for Hemosc Blumenau, which also earns the company recognition: the Hemosc Solidarity Company Seal.
The goal of the Seal is to raise awareness among companies in the region about the importance of blood donation, training multipliers of this idea. Therefore, the project is very important as it enables the maintenance of Hemosc’s blood supplies.
“For the second consecutive year, we received the Solidarity Company Seal. Once again, the Seal was welcomed with great joy by our entire team and demonstrates the importance of collaborating with social actions that help the community,” comments Liziane.
Solidarity Christmas
Another action carried out annually by Teclógica is the Solidarity Christmas. In this edition, employees supported the Rotary Club Fritz Müller of Blumenau. “Rotary promoted the purchase of gifts for over 700 vulnerable children in Blumenau. With our contribution, it was possible to exceed the goal, making these children’s Christmas even more special.”
