On August 14 and 15, a Teclógica team participated in the Application Architecture, Development and Integration Summit organized by Gartner in São Paulo.
The theme of the congress extensively explored the four Nexus forces – Mobility, Cloud Computing, Social Networks, and Information – demonstrating their importance and impact on enterprises, the value that can be generated for the business, their respective maturity stages, best practices for adoption and deployment, recommendations to mitigate the risks involved, and trends for the next 5 years.
- Cloud Computing The use of cloud applications has evolved gradually, driven by the success of certain personal-use solutions, such as file storage services (DropBox, iCloud, etc.). Reliable providers and data privacy remain concerns, although stable and secure options are currently available.
- Mobility The advancement of mobility continues at a rapid pace, benefiting from the global mass adoption of smartphones and tablets, while also driving effects such as consumerization. These market characteristics, combined with the competencies and needs of companies, are propelling the development of mobile applications, adding agility and dynamism to the business.
- Social Networks The phenomenon of social networks is undeniable, and their power to generate positive and negative impacts on business is already felt in most organizations. The challenge is to incorporate them into daily operations so that they become a tool that objectively adds value, both externally (consumer relationship, brand evaluation, communication tool, etc.) and internally (collaboration, integration, organizational climate evaluation, etc.).
- Information Information, in turn, is the intersection of the cloud, mobility, and social networks with the enterprise, where the immense volume of data and its unstructured nature contrast with the need for increasingly updated and relevant information. That is, two paradoxes: the need for contextually meaningful information even when it is not standardized, and real-time information even as the volume of data to process continuously increases.
Evaluating the topics covered at the event, Teclógica’s strategy for developing its products and services includes a series of initiatives utilizing the concepts presented, such as the Mobuss platform and the Mobuss Construção Civil product. This positioning demonstrates Teclógica’s commitment to innovation, thereby producing sustainable and lasting value for clients’ businesses through solutions that support technological evolution.
