Haco, a world-leading company in labels with an integrated portfolio of identification solutions, has implemented an IT support monitoring service from IT area by Teclógica and now enjoys unrestricted availability (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) for infrastructure monitoring and support, which included the unification and standardization of the database and network, making the entire process more agile and organized.
By achieving full monitoring of its IT environment, the company observed that eliminating downtime positively impacted all its employees, representatives, and collaborators. “Nowadays, failing to deliver a simple email already impacts the business”, warns Luciano Mondini, IT Manager at Haco.
According to Mondini, the cost is lower compared to forming an in-house multidisciplinary team, but he points out that the improvement in Datacenter availability transcends the savings obtained with the service.
Other objectives were met by support monitoring, implemented by Teclógica, a company specialized in IT process management. With the unification of the database and network, which is essential for more agile and aligned processes, both internal resource utilization and internal team performance were optimized, highlighting the importance of the service.
“We understand that credibility is built over time, through successes and mistakes, focused on the best solution. Each month, Teclógica’s credibility as our main IT supplier increases. On several occasions, it has been proven that only those who are truly monitoring can act so effectively,” states Mondini. The professional also adds that Teclógica has honored the agreements outlined in the SLA with Haco and collaborated with a refined strategic vision and its expertise in the area.
Deployment Process
Luciano Mondini explains that the implementation took place quickly and smoothly. “The transition process from the previous base, formed by different suppliers, to the new solution went as planned. The preparation of the IT environment and the installation of the monitoring agents took less than a month,” he details.
In the partnership established between the companies, the next planned steps aim at the continuity of the service provided through the implementation of infrastructure projects that include, among others, backup and contingency for Haco’s other units; increasing the capacity of the Datacenter network; production database tuning; and the implementation of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP).
