The newly created division aligns with the company’s aggressive strategic planning, focusing on new market opportunities to deliver Consulting, Systems Development, and Application Management services.
Teclógica, an IT process management company, has just created the New Business division, which supports its strategic planning for 2012.
The new area is structured to address new business opportunities generated by the market, provide flexibility and opportunities in IT service sales, respond rapidly to demands, and quickly develop new teams and projects to serve incoming clients. “As a result, the division is expected to contribute to Teclógica’s projected growth of 30% in 2012 without affecting the quality of its services,” adds Vilson Camargo, who has just assumed the role of New Business Director.
Vilson Camargo, who has worked at Teclógica for 15 years, faces the challenge of establishing planned and structured methods focused on expanding the company’s Market Share. According to him, the new area will quickly seek to transform business opportunities into concrete proposals, generating new sales. “In an extremely competitive market like IT, it is essential to pursue sustainable growth by generating new partnerships and business,” he states.
To consolidate the new department, a company restructuring was necessary, splitting the Operations area into two distinct parts: current clients in the portfolio and new clients. Thus, the operational structure serving current clients will have targets specifically related to them for the year 2012.
Meanwhile, the second operations structure, led by Camargo, will have aggressive targets and will also be responsible for hiring professionals to work exclusively with new clients.
To support this growth and offer quality services and products, the company has just achieved the Capability Maturity Model Integration for Services (CMMI-SVC) Level 2 certification, which proves the excellence of its processes.
