The manufacturing system developed by the French company Dassault Systèmes is considered one of the most efficient shop floor management softwares in the world
Teclógica, an IT and Business Process Management company, is now responsible for implementing the DELMIA Apriso (MES) technology development projects at Cummins Brazil, a company present in over 190 countries that operates in an integrated manner throughout Latin America, designing, manufacturing, distributing, and providing services related to diesel engines and power generation. With Teclógica’s services, Cummins aims to achieve process improvements through systemic configurations to adapt to business changes.
The need to configure the manufacturing system DELMIA Apriso (MES) was diagnosed after starting the planning of a project aimed at implementing a press on the production line.
“We needed to integrate the systems so that the shop floor softwares understood the role of a new equipment on the production line—in this case, the Press—and were able to collect the information provided to keep the process running continuously. Thus, we chose to hire Teclógica’s services, as they demonstrated good expertise in managing and executing projects of this magnitude”
