The Military Police operates daily on the streets, aiming to guarantee population safety and respect for the law. According to article 144 of the Federal Constitution, the PM is responsible for preserving public order and ostensible policing, meaning visible and identifiable through the use of characteristic patrol cars, uniforms, and insignia.
Recently, the 10th Military Police Battalion of Blumenau became aware of office equipment donations being made by Teclógica due to a renovation of the company’s headquarters during the pandemic.
According to Clovis Vasselai, CEO of Teclógica, the technology company took advantage of this period when almost all employees are working remotely to make the office more welcoming.
“During this year that our teams have been working remotely, we managed to make significant changes to welcome employees to a better-planned office that includes a decompression environment, where employees can interact, watch TV, and drink coffee with more comfort,” Clovis reports. The company is expected to return to activities after the pandemic with a hybrid work regime, meaning part of the team works from home and part works on-site.
Utilization by the Military Police
In total, 20 service cubicles were donated to the Military Police, which will be used in the Battalion’s administrative sections as well as at the headquarters of the new Regional Emergency Center.
According to Karla Medeiros, Lieutenant Head of the Logistics Sector of the 10th BPM, the Battalion accepts donations of equipment that can be useful in both administrative and operational areas.
“In addition, the 10th BPM has a Checking Account called Optional Contribution Fee, which aims to raise funds, with community support, for the maintenance of its activities,” she adds. For more details, simply contact the responsible section by phone at (47) 3378-9042.
